#anglersinlove These fishin’ fools are MARRIED! Hayden and Josh had the loveliest beach wedding day on Anna Maria Island this October. It was so flawless and fun!
We started off the day at probably the coolest Air BnB ever. I’m seriously keeping it in mind for a get away in the future. Hayden and her girls all sported their monogrammed Columbia shirts before getting into their gorgeous linen gowns. Notice anyone familiar!? Mrs. Kurth! My 2016 bride Lauren was a bridesmaid! I freaking love when that happens!
All of Haydens special ladies were grinning ear to ear getting her into her stunning gown. Look at that back! She looked absolutely breathtaking, and ho perfect is her floral crown and bare feet?
Over at the Venue, the Sand Bar, the stage was set for an incredible ceremony and party. THIS is how you do a coastal/beach theme! I was so impressed with all of the sea grapes and glass details. There was also netting, driftwood, and market lights. Oh and an entire lounge made of haystacks! So cool. Great work Karen! My favorite parts were how beautifully they incorporated tributes to Josh’s late father. Just lovely.
There was not a cloud in the sky and a steady cool breeze for their ceremony. Hayden’s Grandpa had the honor of officiating and he knocked it out of the park. Did you notice their vows on the sea grape leaves? So cool.
After the ceremony we had the perfect beach backdrop for formals and they even snuck out they pupper Symrna! YES!! We grabbed some Red Stripes (Dad’s fav beer) and headed down to the waters edge for sunset.
Before we knew it the sun was down and it was time for the reception. I really loved how there was still an afterglow in the sky for their formal dances. Everyone was tearing up during the beautiful mother son dance. Then it was father of the bride’s turn to cause tears when he gave his wonderful speech. To kick off to the open dancing part of the night the newlyweds cut their adorable cake! Just one perfect tier and lots of icing on noses, smiles, and kisses.
The dance floor was a party! Lauren was tossing her hair everywhere as expected and all of the kids cut a rug. Even though I wasn’t able to stay to the very very end I did get a peek at their amazing get away cart! It was totally decked out with cans on strings and even a bunch of photos. How perfect! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!
