It was so much fun to photograph the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Ridgeway in their wedding duds!  They Rocked the Dress at Sunken Gardens and Sunset Beach on a gorgeous evening in December! I blogged this months ago but somehow it got lost!! Hair and make up by Stephanie of www.bmooreartistry.com. ENJOY!

Ooo it’s becoming real!! The new logo and branding has hit my business cards! I ordered 2 varieties to test out some ideas and I’m loving it! They are both on double thick card stock, they feel so fancy! I took them a step further this afternoon and gilded the edges! Thanks goes to good ole pintrest for this idea! The thick stock made it perfect for painting! I masked off one of each card and then used a can of my favorite soda water to hold them in place while I sprayed. It was so quick and easy! And the results is so fun! I can’t wait to paper the town with these bad boys!

The improvements continue for 2014! Introducing my new Heirloom Photo Albums. I’ve added a 5×5 option to my selection as well as thicker pages, new cover materials and blind debossing. I’m very proud to say that all of my products are still handmade in the USA by the fantastic Millers Lab. I’m obsessed with the gorgeous cloth covers and the sophisticated look of blind debossing! My newest addition, the 5×5 album is perfect for displaying photos from your portrait session or as parent gifts for wedding clients. I love the 5×5 in black leather as a “Little Black Book” for boudoir photography! Have a look at the prettiness below!

EEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeEEEEEeeeEEEEeeeeE!!! I’ve been doing the happy dance ALL day!! My new logo is ready!! I’ve been working on a new look since last year and it’s finally ready! I can’t thank the design team at Red Met Yellow enough for delivering my vision! I’m so super excited to start using it! Next up is a brand new web site to match! Hopefully we will launch it sometime in March. Whoa, that is going to be the best day ever! I hope you enjoy my new vibrant look! It is a much better projection of who I am as a person and a business. I love the fun sophistication and vibrant colors. Happy Day!

The Harris-Harrison family had the best idea ever for their Holiday Family Portraits this year! We ordered chalk powder on Amazon and scouted around for the perfect location for a paint fight. We found an amazing giant oak tree at a park in Lakeland and knew it was the perfect stage. After a few “clean” portraits it was time to get dirty! I commend each and every one of them for having he patience to let me compose their photos before they had their free for all. It was spectacular! I used my favorite lens, the 70-200, so I could capture al the action at a safe distance. I love the results! I’m totally hooked now and NEED to do another one! How about a Rock the Dress!?!?! Pretty pretty please!?  It’s just chalk and it comes right out 🙂 Enjoy! And Happy Holidays form Ashlee Hamon Photography!
