They’re married!!! Next time I see these two newlyweds it will be when we both arrive at the Reykjavik airport this Sunday! Yep, I’m adventuring with them during the honeymoon! I’ve been saying it for years….”Take me with you!” And they are! I cannot wait! But first let me tell you about their awesome wedding day!
It is truly a small world. Nick reached out to me after a recommendation from a talented food photographer I know in Largo & from one of my 2016 couple’s mom! I knew we were a fit right away, he excited told me about their epic sunrise mountaintop proposal in Hawaii, how much they travel, and their vision for a gorgeous Oxford Exchange ceremony. Plus Nick is also a videographer! And THEN we got to talking about their honeymoon and I ended up with plane tickets…I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly thankful I am for the amazing connections and destinations my career has brought to my life!
So when the big day finally arrived I was beyond thrilled. Everything was gorgeous! Lisa chose the most stunning gown that was PERFECTION on her. The deep burgundy color scheme with the lush garlands and candles made for an uber romantic atmosphere. Botanica killed it! The dudes sported sharp tuxes and their really treated thriller guests to the finest cocktails, food and DONUTS!
I am in love with their first look on the Oxford staircase. It’s almost as if it were built for it. But even better than Nick’s reaction to his lovely bride was their pup/dog of honor Miss Summit! She was all smiles! I’ve never done a Dog first look before but I think it should become a trend. ADORABLE.
Their beautiful ceremony against the books was full of laughter and tears, and lot of nods to adventure. They are already off on the first leg of their current honeymooning adventure in Europe and I cannot wait to galavant around Iceland in only a couple of days!
