Karen and Daniel got hitched at the incredible Dali museum this fall! Their day was full of love, color, sweet dance moves, and lots of silly faces.
These two were all about having a non-traditional wedding day and they nailed it! Having their ceremony in the middle of the staircase was just perfect for them. Their friends and family watched from above as they exchanged very hilarious and heartfelt vows and sealed it with a kiss. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Karen lost a red heel on their way back up! Of course her HUSBAND put it back on for her at the top. So cute.
Because they opted for a first look we were able to take advantage of the sunset on the Bay and around the gorgeous building for some portraits before all of the festivities officially began. That also freed us up to shoot INSIDE THE EXHIBIT during cocktail hour! AHHH! I have shot at the Dali before but never have I been able to make portraits among the art…whoa.
Is it me or does Karen remind you of Kate McKinnon? She is so beautiful, edgy, and funny! I just love all of the different faces I captured from her. And she definitely made me miss my short short hair. Love her bridal style! She was especially fun to photograph cutting a rug under the market lights on the dance floor. Daniel spun and spun her and just stared at her smiling. It was the perfect party to celebrate them!
Congratulations you two!
