Aileen & JD are finally hitched! We had an especially cool engagement session here in Tampa last spring just before they made a big move up the east coast. I was overjoyed when they chose me to photograph their big day on Chesapeake Bay! The day before we met up in the heart of Annapolis for some fun portraits with all the fall leaves and the harbour. It was seriously such a lovely weekend full of sunshine and the changing color of the leaves….except for their entire wedding day! It was crazy, a storm from Florida followed us! Luckily the love and joy of this amazing couple and all of their friends and family was too bright to be dampened. We made it out into the wind and drizzle as many times as possible and I am so thankful for their trust. Their ceremony moved from outside into the beautifully draped atrium full of windows. As they said their vows to each other a flock of birds burst by the windows too! They kicked off their awesome party with plenty of Old Bay and seafood, HEAVEN! They also had a full band and they were amazing! The rain let up enough for us to have the sparkler exit to their Challanger and we plotted to meet back up bright and early the nest morning. These troopers put their duds back on and met us back at the venue the very next morning! Of course the weather was gorgeous and we even saw bald eagles! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Lane!
