Garland & Gold Oxford Exchange Wedding

Holy smokes! Taren & Ryan’s wedding day was GOALS from start to finish!

We must start with that dress!! You know Hayley Paige is my spirit designer! And her design Jem was MADE FOR Taren! It was utterly perfect. Fit her like a glove and was absolutely magical as she twirled the night away. I also loved how she kept her hair down. The indoor venue and winter season truly fit the style as well. It was so fun getting ready with her girls as the guys caused a ruckus just next door.  The top floor of the Oxford Exchange is so beautiful to photograph in and I love having everyone important close by.

When I popped over to capture Ryan opening his gift from Taren before the first look his face totally gave it away! She gifted him a beautiful boudoir album by my girl Carolina at Room 3307 (high fives!). His reaction was priceless! But as excited as he was about that surprise emotions were even higher when he finally got to see his bride for the first look. There were definitely tears! Even my own 🙂

Having a first look was perfect for them and it allowed us to get all of their formal photos done before the ceremony AND in sunlight! Yay! I love when I get the chance to take the couple around the building, things don’t always pan out that way. They loved getting a break to just be together on their wedding day and I was giddy about the perfect light!

Their ceremony in the main atrium was stunning. They had the most incredible scripted scroll as their background with tons and tons of garland, soft white florals, and candle light. The mood was so romantic and warm. The details they chose meshed perfectly with the beauty of the venue and everything felt seamless and timeless, yet created just for them.

Since all of the formals were done before the ceremony we were able to knock out some family groupings and let everyone join in on the cocktail hour before having their first dance and then into a delicious plated dinner. WOW! I loved the way they set up the main restaurant! Those laser etched escort names were the coolest ever! And who doesn’t love a lush garland?

To start the party they cut their amazing gold cake and then got to dancing! Taren has some moves! When I said she twirled the night away I was not kidding! Goals! She could salsa circles around anyone! And don’t worry Ryan broke out impressive moves of his own during the garter retrieval. They enjoyed every second of their day and into the night.  It was such an honor to be there to capture it all!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Gregg!
