Congratulations to my beautiful cousin Delaney and her kick ass husband JA!! It was such an honor to photograph their intimate backyard wedding a few weeks ago down in Stuart. It was so amazing to see all of my family together and to celebrate such a wonderful couple!
We began the day in the bridal suite with one of Delaney’s talented and stunning bridesmaids making sure everyone looked amazing! Everyone was having fun in their silk robes with the best 90’s jams blaring to set the mood. Delaney’s ladies were SO good at cracking jokes whenever waterworks started to creep in 🙂 I had the best time with all of the pretty details and when she finally had her gown on she took our breath away! WOW!!
Back at my Uncle’s house everything was ready for an epic party! Even though the sun wasn’t really out we luckily stayed dry and the even light made everything gorgeous. I had a great time joking around with JA and documenting the final touches of him being ready for his I Do’s!
The ceremony was preformed by an old friend and JA could hardly keep it together! It was so heartwarming to see his love just beaming out for Delaney! The formal photos after were also full of fun and so much LOVE!
I think what got everyone tearing up though were the formal dances. Once more JA had his big squishy heart out on his tattoed sleeve. It was so sweet how he laughed, held, and nuzzled her. But when she and my Uncle shared their dance the intensity was palpable by all. Even though Duff tried to differ to sticking out his tongue and being his goofy self, they shared such a touching moment. When Delaney and I were very young her mother, my Aunt Evelyn tragically passed away. I knew that my father and his brother and sister that were looking on were all so proud of Delaney on her beautiful wedding day. But also of Duff who raised an incredible woman and created an amazing family and home that ended up hosting her wedding day. He was so blessed to find love again with Rhonda and to have Desiree and Dustin! I love that this side of my family has 3 sets of kids with theme names! HAHA! There are me and my brother and sister: Ashlee, Amber, and Austin. My cousins Keven, Kimberly, and Kyle, plus Delaney, Desiree, and Dustin!
After wiping away the tears and sending a little love and light to Evelyn’s spirit it was time for the fun celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Sposato! There was corn hole, a fire pit, and a bumpin dance floor! We got to call out Auntie Gayle & Uncle Bob who are about to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary!! Cue more tears. But then we also got to laugh with the shoe game and my parents being PSYCHED to dance the Time Warp!
Congratulations again to these two!! I know they are going to have an incredible life together as husband and wife!!
