Alex & Kyle are married! They had a super fun wedding day in Downtown St. Pete, complete with a grand bubble exit down the MFA steps. I really loved the Hilton hotel they got read in, wow it’s so modern and new! Alex was so cute, she kept her dress a secret from all other bridesmaids. So we got her dressed without them and then brought them in to see it for the first time all together! Such adorable reactions! Alex was absolutely stunning gin her lace and bedazzled Kate spade Keds. She’s a smart cookie!
Once she was dressed and ready it was time to rendezvous with the guys and get them in place down in North Straub Park for the FIRST LOOK. They were all so sweet and excited while getting ready and totally gracious about wearing their pink ties, vests, and flowers 😉 And damn did they look sharp in their navy suits and brown wingtips!
The moment for them to first see each other on their wedding fairly arrived and it was awesome! We were all received and and thankful that the rain stayed away too! They both broke out in giant grins before holding each other and laughing, so full of love. And the peanut gallery, I mean wedding party, got a front row seat and cheered! We used the beautiful pavilion and all of the pink blooming bougainvilleas for their formals. It was perfect!
Before we knew it was time to say I DO! They had a lovely ceremony, officiated by her brother, in the courtyard of the MFA. Past couple Brooke & Steven were among the honored guests too! It was so fun to catch up with them, and it was right around their one year anniversary too!
Because we had the first look and were able to do so many formals before the ceremony we were able to use up the last bits of sun for the family grouping and a few more romantic formals. Once the sun was down they got a chance to relax, get bustled, and have some food and drink before being introduced into the party. I love the way having a first look allows us to work WITH the sun and give the couple a better flow and more time together.
Their reception was full of fun and dancing and their Photo Booth was a big hit! I think I took one of my favorite dragged-shutter dance floor photos ever! The charming ring bearer broke out some crazy flips and jumps and I actually caught him mid jump and UPSIDE DOWN! YAS!
They bubble exit into their limo was the cutest thing ever and everyone loved being able to send them off in style!! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Chaikin!!
