Brittany & Leo of Rad Red Creative were the loveliest models for my full day mentorship session in May! I recruited them as live test subjects for me to teach OCF/Off Camera Flash lighting. I love hanging out with the and photographing them is even better! It was perfect timing too, since they were just reaching the 30 week mark on their way to meeting Cozette! 

We began at the Rialto theater, one of the COOLEST places in downtown Tampa. I had spent the morning and most of the afternoon with my mentee Chynna, who came down from the Orlando market to learn. We played around with all of the magmod tools including some fun with CTO gels. The giant space was so much fun to fill with just light and these two. 

From there were roamed around the Tampa Riverwalk at Armature Works and waited for the sunset. It’s been a while since I’ve shot into the sunset with flash! It was truly a spectacular one! But I still found myself wanting to shot it with natural light. What do you like better?
