Are you even ready to see this real life mermaid and her handsome prince on their wedding day?! Vicki is my red head unicorn bride and she made my heart STOP in her incredible gown!! LOOOK AT IT! LOOK AT THE TRAIN! LOOK AT HER EYES! I was dead. I also had the flu….and poor Vicki wasn’t feeling so hot herself. Somehow everyone rallied and these two said I Do on their favorite bit of beach in St. Pete.
Nausea aside, their wedding day was magical! The weather was absolutely perfect and the sunset was pastel and lovely. They wanted to have an intimate day with their nearest and dearest and to spoil them with the best views and the best food. They got ready right there and walked down the spill staircase our to the waters edge for their ceremony. I love when everything is in one place! Right after ceremony we made things official with Rev Rick, he’s the best! The light was so perfectly soft as we headed into sunset, making me giddy about family photos! Even though Vicki wasn’t feeling good you wouldn’t know it. We did as much as we could before it was time to go in and get ready for the reception.
Happily their guests were plenty entertained with fresh raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab legs and more during cocktail hour! YES! And they put out about 10 Wright’s cakes for desert! If you don’t know, Wright’s is an incredible Deli & bakery in Tampa….yum! After finally getting that giant train up and bustled it was time for their magical first dance in the afterglow of the sunset. PERFECT! I just love how Vicki lead Rick out to the middle of the sand, under all of the strings lights his brother hung for them. So special.
I also got to see a familiar face! A past Maid of Honor was there and she was ready to throw petals for fun photos! Hahah! It was so much fun! The new Mr. & Mrs. just got back from their honeymoon in Greece and I am so excited to have these highlights up and ready for them! Congratulations to the Reithoffer’s!
