I had the most wonderful day a few months back shooting one of my amazing GROOMS today, David Sharpe! Yep. He and Erin just said I DO in this very backyard only a few weeks ago! Before I share their special day though I have to show off what we did instead of a traditional engagement session.

David was in need of some portraits for his band new business venture. We were aiming for fun, friendly, and authentic. We even lucked out with a spectacular sunset for the grand finale! We decided to shoot in and around the new home he and Erin were renovating (yes the venue for their wedding!). It ended up being the perfect space with lots of options and gorgeous light. Shooting a fellow entrepreneur and someone that really “gets it” in terms of the power of visual communication was a total dream. We were able to really jive if you will and having a good connection to my subject and what their goals are for their images was hugely inspiring.
